BARR LLP was founded in 1998 in Edmonton, but its reputation can be traced back to over 40 years ago through the dedication and expertise of its founding partners. Initially, BARR LLP was a boutique Edmonton law firm, specializing in the areas of practice championed by its founders. However, the 2010s marked a period of significant growth and transformation for the firm. BARR LLP expanded its team of legal professionals, allowing it to branch out into new practice areas such as premier real estate, full-service wills, trusts, and estates, and high-value civil litigation. In 2015, a senior Criminal Law practice was integrated into the firm. This acquisition solidified BARR LLP’s status as the comprehensive, full-service Edmonton law firm it is recognized as today.
